Common name: Snow Gum.

Native: Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania.

Provenance: Australia

Size and spread (10 years): 5m

Treatment required: Requires pre chill,     cold moist 3-4wks followed by 21degC for sowing

Germinal seeds / kg: with pre-chill  c. 35,000

Ideal sowing period: Spring / Early Summer.

Soil conditions: Moist well drained soils.

Planting instructions: Shelter when young, but extremely hardy when mature, also tolerant of salt winds. Can be coppiced.
