Almost luminous white flowers in spring on long thin leaves. Tends to creep through other plants

Star shaped understated white flowers, with 5 deeply lobed petals, appear in hedgerows in April and May. Soft linear leaves. Quite often grows with wild Forget-Me-Not and Red Campion making a lovely sight in spring. Seeds are shot out of their capsules with a 'pop'. Used as a cure for 'stitch' by energetic people!

Sow any time either in seed trays for planting out when big enough, or directly into flowering positions.
