Large heads of tiny pink/purple flowers are produced late summer on tall, architectural stems.

A stately plant often found near streams and pond edges. Thrives anywhere damp. The purple stems can grow to 1.2m and the leaves growing up them look slightly like cannabis. Flowers in the late summer and autumn are very attractive to butterflies and moths, being a rich nectar source.

Sow in spring, best germination temp. is 20degC and it can take up to 4wks to sprout. Could benefit from a cold period. Needs light for germination.
